Sampling at BevNET Live: A Platform for Product Discovery and Feedback

Brand leaders, retailers, distributors, investors, and other industry experts attend BevNET Live to discover new beverage products. Sampling is an included opportunity for registered brand attendees, giving companies the chance to showcase innovations and gather feedback from experienced operators and peers.

There are two sampling formats at BevNET Live.

Non-Alcoholic Products: Sampled via self-serve fridges placed throughout the event.

Alcoholic, THC, and Party-Style Products: Sampled during the Day 1 Happy Hour.

Non-Alcoholic Beverages: Self-Serve Sample Fridges

Registered attendees can showcase their single-serve, shelf-stable, or refrigerated products in self-serve fridges throughout BevNET Live. This allows for seamless sampling while fostering business conversations with investors, retailers, suppliers, and peers.

How it Works:
  • Self-serve fridges are placed throughout the event featuring 100+ beverages, powders, and mixes
  • Multiple brands and products are featured in each fridge
  • BevNET staff manage stocking and rotation throughout the event
  • Participating brands simply provide product

Alcoholic Beverages & Mocktails: Sampled at Parties

Products with alcohol, adult-effect properties, or designed for party settings (e.g., RTD mocktails) will be sampled at the Official Party.

Sampling will take place at two designated bars.

How it Works:

  • RTD Spirits Bar staffed by a BevNET bartender
  • Non-Alcoholic Bar featuring mocktails and alcohol alternatives, also staffed
  • Multiple brands sampled at each bar
  • Hands-off for attendees; simply provide product and we take it from there

Hemp-Derived THC Beverages: Sampled at the Official Party

Products containing THC derived from industrial hemp, e.g. Delta 9 THC, will be sampled at a designated bar during the Day 1 Happy Hour.

This dedicated area allows attendees to explore hemp-based offerings in a safe and controlled environment.

How it Works:
  • Products containing THC derived from industrial hemp are permitted for sampling. Products containing THC derived from marijuana are not permitted.
  • Industrial hemp products must adhere to specific restrictions, with a maximum THC content of 10mg per unit.
  • Sampling takes place during Day 1 Happy Hour

Guidelines for Sampling

What are the sampling opportunities*?

  1. Non-Alcoholic Sample Fridges: Self-serve fridges are placed throughout the BevNET Live event featuring a mix of 100+ non-alcoholic beverage products, as well as powders and mixes. The fridges are constantly restocked by BevNET staff, making it a hands-off experience for brands that are participating.

  2. Alcohol & Mocktail Sample Bars at Happy Hour: Products that contain alcohol or other adult-effect properties, or non-alcoholic beverages that are created for a party environment, such as an RTD mocktail, will be sampled at the BevNET Live day one Happy Hour. There will be one RTD cocktail bar and one non-alcoholic bar, each manned by a BevNET bartender.

  3. Hemp-Derived THC Beverages at Happy Hour: Industrial hemp-derived THC products will be available for sampling at a designated bar within the BevNET Live Happy Hour.

*Your sample placement will be decided by the BevNET staff. Alcoholic, THC, and adult-effect beverages will automatically be served at the parties. Non-alcoholic beverages and mixes / powders will be sampled via the sample fridges throughout the event. Non-alcoholic cocktails will be given a choice in the application. They can only pick one.

How does sampling work?

BevNET staff - and BevNET staff only - will work throughout the event to keep products stocked in on-site fridges, at bars and rotated in a fair and equitable manner.

How can you participate?

Once you're registered for the conference, you will receive an application to fill out information about your product. Your brand will be added to our list of sample participants on a first come, first served basis.

Who can apply to sample?

Participation is free and open to all registered BevNET Live attendees. We recognize that some products are still in the development phase, and encourage attendees to share what they have put together thus far, regardless if label design or packaging formats are not representative of the final version.

Are there restrictions on who can sample?

Non-alcoholic, alcoholic, ready-to-drink, finished products and powders/tablets can participate. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate products that are bag-in-box, pre-mix, brewed (e.g. tea & coffee), or served hot. Products containing THC will only be accepted if the THC is industrial hemp-derived with a limit of 10mg of THC per unit (can/bottle). CBD products are also permitted. Flavor house and private label products are not eligible.

How much do you bring?

Each brand may bring up to 60 individual units (bottles/cans, not cases) of product for the fridges and up to 48 individual units (bottles/cans, not cases) of product for the Happy Hour bar. You are welcome to send multiple flavors and/or package formats, as long as the total number of units for all formats does not exceed the maximum total units. Brands containing THC are limited to 12 individual units. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
