ABOUT THE ROLE

Leisure Hydration is seeking a Marketing Manager to join our growing team and help bring the Leisure Hydration brand to life across channels. This is our first dedicated marketing hire, designed for someone who excels at execution, coordination, and momentum-building — not someone expected to do everything themselves.


At Leisure Hydration, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for executing quarterly marketing plans, managing timelines and partners, and ensuring programs are delivered at a high standard across digital, retail, experiential, and content. This role works closely with the CoFounder/CMO of Leisure Hydration to translate strategy into action and collaborate with a network of agencies, freelancers, and internal partners to drive results.


As the first marketing hire at Leisure Hydration, you’ll have broad exposure across the marketing function while working closely with leadership and trusted external partners.


WHAT YOU’LL DO

You’ll own execution and coordination across key marketing workstreams, partnering closely with the CoFounder/CMO and external agencies to bring Leisure Hydration’s quarterly plans to life.


Brand & Campaign Execution

  • Execute quarterly and annual marketing plans in partnership with the CoFounder/CMO
  • Translate brand strategy into clear briefs, timelines, and deliverables across channels
  • Support launches, seasonal moments, partnerships, and brand initiatives from planning through post-mortem
  • Ensure consistent brand expression across touchpoints while working with creative partners


Retail, Shopper & Go-to-Market Support

  • Support retail and shopper marketing programs in collaboration with Sales and Operations
  • Coordinate retail media efforts (e.g. Instacart, Ibotta) aligned to pre-determine budget and KPIs
  • Leverage promotional calendars and retail-specific initiatives tied to launches and key accounts to drive brand’s marketing programs


Content, Social & Community

  • Support execution of content and social programming across platforms (IG, TikTok, etc.)
  • Manage content calendars and coordinate with creators, freelancers, and social agencies
  • Support community, grassroots, and influencer initiatives that build brand awareness and loyalty


Events & Experiential

  • Support planning and execution of IRL, grassroots, and industry events (e.g. expos, pop-ups, influencer events) with external partners
  • Own event run-of-show coordination, timelines, and partner alignment
  • Manage post-event recaps, learnings, and reporting
  • Will travel and attend events when necessary 


Performance, Reporting & Operations

  • Own marketing reporting cadence and KPI tracking across channels
  • Compile performance recaps and insights in partnership with the CoFounder/CMO and agencies
  • Manage marketing calendars, trackers, and cross-functional timelines to ensure strong execution


Agency & Partner Orchestration

  • Act as the day-to-day point of contact for most marketing agencies, freelancers, and contractors
  • Ensure partners are aligned to priorities, timelines, and performance expectations
  • Help keep the marketing offense running smoothly across multiple workstreams


DESIRED CAPABILITIES & TOOL EXPERIENCE

  • Meta business manager
  • Instacart, Ibotta, and other retail media 
  • Event run-of-show coordination [ex: Expo West, influencer events, etc]
  • Microsoft Office [Excel, Powerpoint, Docs, etc]
  • Klaviyo
  • Shopify Admin


Bonus Skillsets

  • Canva and/or Adobe [still asset creation]
  • CapCut and/or Adobe [video editing skills]
  • Content capture [iPhone, digital camera, etc]


WHO YOU ARE: Experience

- 3–6+ years of marketing experience, within CPG

- RTD beverage experience is a plus

- Highly organized, collaborative, and KPI-driven


WHO YOU ARE: Personality

- Calm, cool, and collected, but also gets s#!t done 

- Can follow clear directions, but can also thrive in ambiguity

- Self-starter that can do things that help the business to succeed
