Packaging Lead

Crooked Can Brewing Company, based in Winter Garden, FL has been in operation over 10 years and currently has locations in Winter Garden, FL, Snellville, GA, and Hilliard, OH. We are building a new 42,500 square foot taproom and production facility in Minneola, FL.

Position Summary:

The Packaging Lead will manage daily packaging operations at the new Minneola production facility. Responsibilities include canning line and kegging setup, operation, maintenance, and sanitation, with a focus on safety, quality, and team coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

o  Oversee packaging staff. Assign tasks and train team members.

o  Handle depalletization, can size changeovers, monitor fill and seam quality, manage inkjet/labeling systems, and cartoner system.

o  Operate and troubleshoot canning and kegging/keg washing equipment

o  Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and QA compliance throughout packaging processes. Be able to use or train on Anton CBox (CO2 and Dissolved Oxygen in tank and package), ATP monitoring (surface and rinse sampling) systems, and PCR beer spoiler microorganism detection.

o  Track run data and assist with inventory and documentation, mainly with EKOS brewery management software.

o  Promote and maintain a positive, safe work environment

Qualifications:

o  Several years of experience in brewery Packaging, specifically operating a canning line equivalent to the Wild Goose Dual Lane Evolution series

o  Strong mechanical skills and equipment troubleshooting ability

o  Knowledge of quality control practices

o  Organized, punctual, and team-oriented

o  Flexible schedule; early shifts
