Brewer

Brewer position with Toms River Brewing, located in Toms River, New Jersey right along the Jersey Shore.

The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in both brewing and cellaring operations with a keen attention to details.

The candidate is a self-motivator who works equally well in a team setting as they do independently.

Mechanical aptitude, comfortability troubleshooting issues as they may arise.

Team member must be able to communicate clearly, effectively and professionally.

Must possess a positive outlook and demeanor with an enthusiasm for crafting the best beers possible.

Warehouse experience and familiarity with QA/QC practices are encouraged.

Basic Responsibilities

-Perform both cellar and brew house operations in a smart and efficient manner.

-Yeast harvesting, handling, and pitching.

-FV/BT CIP and SIP operations

-Adherence to all SOPs as directed by management.

-Packaging Support on canning and kegging days.

-General system maintenance.

-Assist with raw materials and packaged goods inventory.

-Maintain safety protocols, PPE, lockout-tagout and more.

-Physically able to repeatedly lift 55+lbs, walk, stand for extended periods, squat, reach unassisted.
