Import Beer Manager - AL, FL & Puerto Rico

Merchant du Vin seeks a new Florida based Import Beer Manager who will report to the Midwest Regional Manager. This manager’s focus will be to increase MdV sales and market presence across the states of Alabama, Florida and the commonwealth of Puerto Rico.

This is a sales manager position, and the ideal candidate will have several years of both on and off premise specialty beer experience and be adept at managing distributor, retailer and consumer relationships. This will be a "boots on the ground" job covering all facets of the day-to-day business for the above mentioned territory with significant support from the Regional Manager.  Proficiency in iDig & Karma and bilingual in Spanish is preferred.

Focus includes:

·      Increasing Merchant du Vin sales, distribution & market presence

·      Developing relationships with distributor sales teams (one-on-one work in the trade with distributor sales reps, sales meeting presentations, events)

·      Developing on and off premise retail relationships (staff trainings, tastings, events, programming, seasonals, etc.)

·      Managing promotional materials and sampling budget to drive sales

·      Creating and hosting events to promote MdV throughout the area (beer dinners, festivals, tastings, trainings, etc.)

·      Being the one-stop, go-to MdV point of contact for the territory
