We’re looking for an ambitious sales professional to lead TALEA’s growth across Upstate New York.
Role Overview
The Sales Market Manager will own sales performance, distributor management, and brand execution throughout Upstate NY. This is a highly field-focused role responsible for expanding distribution, strengthening key accounts, and driving revenue growth.
The right candidate thrives with autonomy, is a self-starter, and takes full ownership of results.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute territory sales strategy to achieve volume and revenue goals
- Expand distribution across priority on- and off-premise accounts
- Build strong distributor relationships; conduct ride-withs and market work-withs
- Secure features, displays, and draft placements to maximize visibility
- Support new product launches and seasonal initiatives
- Monitor performance, manage trade spend, and provide market insights
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in craft beer, beverage alcohol, or CPG sales
- Distributor management experience preferred (we work with TJ Sheehan and Craft New York)
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
- Self-starter comfortable in a fast-growing environment
- Willingness to travel throughout Upstate NY (50-70%) using personal vehicle (with standard mileage reimbursement)
- Valid driver’s license
- Insatiable desire to exceed expectations
