The Opportunity

We’re hiring a Brand Marketing Manager to be the connective tissue between our brand vision and how the world experiences it — on shelf, on screen, on the show floor, and everywhere in between. This is a role for someone who loves CPG, lives for great storytelling, and gets genuinely excited about putting their fingerprint on a brand on the rise.


Your headline project? Expo West — our biggest, boldest industry event of the year. You’ll own it end to end. From there, you’ll shape ad campaigns, sharpen packaging, drive smart coupon strategy, and keep our digital presence fresh and on-brand. Role Snapshot

  • Location: Stamford, CT — hybrid schedule. We’d love you primarily in-office during your first few months so you can deeply absorb the brand, the team, and how we work, with flexibility to shift to a hybrid cadence as you ramp.
  • Reports to: CMO
  • Experience: 5–8 years in brand marketing; CPG and/or food & beverage experience strongly preferred
  • Travel: Light, occasional travel — primarily Expo West (Anaheim, CA), plus the occasional packaging print run, photoshoot, or industry event


What You’ll Own

Expo West — Our Marquee Moment

Expo West is the Super Bowl of natural products, and it’s your show to run.

  • Lead end-to-end planning and execution of Saffron Road’s presence at Expo West, including booth design, build-out, on-floor experience, sampling strategy, and post-show follow-up.
  • Partner with sales, culinary, and leadership to align the show experience with our biggest priorities and product launches.
  • Manage timelines, budgets, vendor relationships, agencies, and cross-functional partners to deliver a standout, on-brand presence.
  • Own measurement: define what success looks like and report on retailer engagement, buyer meetings, leads, and brand impact.
  • Opportunity to support additional trade events and industry conferences throughout the year, extending the brand’s presence beyond Expo West.


Ad Campaign Execution

  • Support development and rollout of integrated ad campaigns across digital, social, shopper, and emerging channels.
  • Partner with creative agencies and internal stakeholders to bring campaigns to life on time, on budget, and on brand.
  • Help translate brand strategy into compelling creative briefs and ensure executional excellence at every touchpoint.


Brand Identity & Packaging

  • Be a steward of the Saffron Road brand — protect what makes us distinctive and push us forward where it counts.
  • Collaborate on packaging design and refresh projects, from new product launches to evolving existing lines, partnering closely with R&D, sales, and design partners.
  • Maintain and evolve our brand guidelines so everything we put into the world feels unmistakably Saffron Road.


Coupon Strategy & Management

  • Own coupon planning and execution across digital, in-store, and shopper platforms to drive trial, conversion, and repeat purchase.
  • Partner with sales on trade marketing / retailer-specific promotional plans aligned to brand and category objectives.
  • Track performance, ROI, and redemption data to continuously sharpen our approach.


Website & Digital Content

  • Manage saffronroad.com — keeping content fresh, on-brand, and optimized for both shoppers and search.
  • Lead the digital content calendar: product pages, recipes, blog, landing pages, and seasonal campaigns.
  • Partner with our social and CRM efforts to ensure a cohesive consumer experience across every digital touchpoint.


Who You Are

  • 5–8 years of brand marketing experience, ideally in CPG or food & beverage — a passion for the natural and better-for-you space is a big plus.
  • You’ve planned and executed major trade shows, brand activations, or large-scale events — Expo West, Fancy Food, or similar a strong plus.
  • You’re a confident project manager who can juggle agencies, internal teams, and tight timelines without losing the creative thread.
  • You have strong instincts for brand and design — you know what good looks like and can give clear, useful creative direction.
  • You’re fluent in the building blocks of modern brand marketing: digital, social, shopper, packaging, promotions, and website content.
  • You’re entrepreneurial. You like rolling up your sleeves, owning outcomes, and operating with a small, ambitious team.
  • You’re an excellent communicator and collaborator across sales, Culinary R&D, leadership, and outside partners.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • We run on EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) — familiarity is a plus, but not required.
