Delivery Operations Manager

Stoup Brewing: Stoup Brewing is an independent craft brewery in Seattle, WA with 3 locations in Ballard, Capitol Hill and Kenmore. Experience Required: 2+ years in a Delivery Management role. Must be able to move heavy kegs and cases.

Hours: 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday.

Compensation: Salaried at $60,000-$65,000/year. This is a non-exempt role which means that overtime rules still apply.

Responsibilities:

• Directly manage day to day operations of the Delivery Services Lead and the Delivery Crew.
• Maintain consistent and clear communication with the Director of Brewing Operations on processes and employee concerns and successes.
• Work alongside the Wholesale Operations Consultant to create efficient processes and procedures to maintain consistency and clear communication between sales, brewery and delivery teams.
• Hire, train and provide consistent feedback to the Delivery Services Lead and the Delivery team.
• Manage and work directly with the Delivery Services Lead to ensure all delivery tasks are completed.
• Ensure vehicles are maintained and a regular maintenance schedule is kept and recorded.
• Ensure the delivery team maintains safety best practices (proper lifting, loading, forklift usage, etc.)
• Print invoices daily, create a daily delivery plan and coordinate loading of delivery trucks.
• Act as the main point of contact for all delivery related questions during the delivery workday.
• Deliver kegs/cases to customers while providing excellent customer service.
• Ensure vans are unloaded and secured each day.
• Close out current day’s deliveries
• Ensure all empty kegs are returned to the brewery in an organized manner.
• Flex route as needed to assist others.
• Ensure loading docks and coolers are kept clean and tidy.
• Ensure inventory is accurate.
• Ensure outgoing Stoup Brewing orders are wrapped, packed and shipped correctly.
• Ensure incoming orders for Stoup Distro are correct and properly stored in the appropriate cooler.
• Ensure that outgoing keg returns (to partner breweries) are accurately tracked.
• Coordinate additional tasks for drivers when routes are completed early. 
• Accept additional projects as directed by the Director of Brewing Operations.
