The Role

We are seeking an entrepreneurial California Sales Manager to lead market development, account acquisition, and early brand presence across Los Angeles. This is a foundational leadership role with the potential to evolve into broader regional or national sales responsibility as distribution expands.

The ideal candidate combines strong industry relationships with a hands-on launch mindset and the ability to operate effectively in nightlife-driven environments.

The Company

A new premium ready-to-drink spirits brand inspired by the meeting of Icelandic purity and Mexican craft tradition is preparing for a selective Los Angeles market launch. Built around artisanal mezcal and elevated natural ingredients, the brand is designed for modern nightlife and premium hospitality environments. The company is founder-led, well-capitalized for launch, and executing a tightly focused neighborhood-driven entry strategy.


Initial focus areas include:

Los Feliz • Hollywood • West Hollywood • Downtown Los Angeles • Venice • Santa Monica


This is a rare opportunity to join at ground level and help build a culturally relevant beverage brand in one of the world’s most influential markets.


Key Responsibilities

  • Execute Los Angeles market launch strategy and territory development
  • Open and manage high-impact on-premise accounts including cocktail bars, nightlife venues, and hospitality groups
  • Build productive working relationships with distributor partners
  • Lead tastings, staff education, and brand activation initiatives
  • Identify targeted boutique off-premise placements aligned with brand positioning
  • Support nightlife programming, events, and experiential marketing efforts
  • Monitor sales performance and provide market intelligence to leadership
  • Collaborate closely with founders on pricing, programming, and expansion timing


Ideal Candidate

  • 5+ years beverage alcohol sales experience within California
  • Established relationships across Los Angeles bar, nightlife, and hospitality networks
  • Experience launching or scaling premium spirits or RTD brands preferred
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort operating in an early-stage environment
  • Strong personal presence and relationship-building ability
  • Organized, data-aware, and execution-focused
  • Passion for premium spirits, culture, and nightlife


Compensation & Growth

  • $130,000 - 140,000 base salary
  • Mileage reimbursement
  • Cell phone allowance
  • Up to 25% performance bonus tied to market development milestones
  • Equity option participation
