The Opportunity

We are seeking a driven and entrepreneurial Senior Brand Development Manager to lead our growth in California—one of the most important and competitive tequila markets in the world.

This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in the field, understands the beverage alcohol landscape, and is passionate about building brands through strong distributor partnerships and market execution.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and execute the California market strategy to drive distribution and depletions
  • Build and manage relationships with key distributor partners (e.g., Southern Glazer’s, RNDC)
  • Develop and expand key on-premise and off-premise accounts
  • Lead brand activations, tastings, and events across the market
  • Educate trade partners and consumers on the El Tequileño portfolio and story
  • Collaborate with marketing to execute local campaigns and initiatives
  • Identify growth opportunities and monitor competitive activity
  • Represent the brand at industry events and key accounts
  • Provide regular market feedback and performance reporting

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in beverage alcohol (spirits preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of the California market and account landscape
  • Established relationships with distributors and key accounts
  • Experience working with major distributors (Southern Glazer’s, RNDC, etc.)
  • Proven ability to drive sales and build brand presence
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong communication and organizational skills
  • Willingness to travel frequently within California

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive salary: $95,000 – $130,000 USD + performance bonus
  • Travel and expense support
