Job Summary
The Marketing Product Development Coordinator leads the organization’s Stage-Gate innovation process, guiding new beverage and product concepts from idea through commercialization. This role serves as the liaison between Marketing, Production, Purchasing, Compliance, and Sales, ensuring alignment on timelines, deliverables, and approvals. The coordinator manages the 1-year development pipeline and supports the 3-year innovation roadmap while leveraging data, AI tools, and disciplined project management to accelerate speed-to-market.

- Owns the organization’s Stage-Gate innovation process, guiding beverage and product concepts from idea through development, approvals, and post-launch review.
- Leads cross-functional coordination between Marketing, Sales, Production, Supply Chain, and external partners to deliver new product launches on time and market-ready.
- Maintains and prioritizes the 1-year development pipeline and supports the 3-year innovation roadmap using data, trends, and strategic direction from marketing leadership.
- Ensures all product development projects meet regulatory and compliance requirements, including MLCC, TTB, and packaging approval processes.
- Drives operational efficiency in innovation by implementing AI tools, project management systems, and process improvements that accelerate speed-to-market.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and act in a manner consistent with our Mission, Vision & Values
- Leads execution of the organization’s Stage-Gate product development process from concept through development and post-launch review, ensuring disciplined progress and cross-team accountability.
- Partners with Brand, Innovation, Sales, Production, and Supply Chain teams to coordinate commercialization plans, packaging procurement, and production timelines for new product launches.
- Maintains and evaluates the 1-year development pipeline and contributes to the 3-year innovation roadmap using syndicated data, trend insights, and predictive tools to prioritize high-potential opportunities.
- Oversees preparation and submission of regulatory and compliance approvals, including MLCC and TTB filings, ensuring formulas, labels, and packaging meet all requirements.
- Leads product development initiatives outside the scope of traditional brand ownership, managing concept creation, packaging development, approvals, pricing strategy, and go-to-market planning.
- Implements and manages AI-enabled tools and project management systems that improve visibility, identify risks, and accelerate the innovation workflow.
- Maintains accurate product development data and item master records while serving as liaison with external partners such as Pabst on development and compliance coordination.
Required Qualifications
- Experience leading complex product development or commercialization projects within CPG, beverage alcohol, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
- Demonstrated ability to manage structured innovation or Stage-Gate development processes, coordinating cross-functional teams to successfully launch new products.
- Process-driven and detail-oriented change agent who proactively identifies inefficiencies, leverages strong EQ to navigate stakeholders and resistance, and applies deep CPG development and commercial acumen to align teams, optimize workflows, and deliver results.
- Strong cross-functional leadership and accountability skills, with a proven ability to influence stakeholders, resolve conflicts, and drive teams to meet commitments and deadlines.
- Working knowledge of beverage alcohol or CPG production, regulatory, and commercialization dynamics, including packaging development, compliance approvals, and go-to-market execution.
- Proficiency leveraging generative AI and digital workflow tools to accelerate project coordination, analysis, creative development, and operational efficiency.
- Eagerness, Willingness and ability to work occasional nights, weekends, supporting the organization at promotional events, brand marketing initiatives and corporate events.
