Beer Zombies Brewing Co. and Tenaya Creek Brewery are two established Nevada craft beer brands operating from one production facility in Las Vegas. Our focus is producing high-quality beer across multiple styles while continuing to grow two respected brands with strong local roots and national recognition.

Position Overview

The Packaging & Cellar Assistant supports day-to-day brewery production operations with a primary focus on packaging, cellar work, sanitation, and overall production support. This role reports directly to brewery leadership and plays a key role in keeping beer quality high and operations running efficiently.

This is a hands-on production position for someone with prior brewery experience who understands urgency,

cleanliness, consistency, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

Packaging Operations

• Set up, operate, clean, and break down canning line equipment
• Operate and maintain a Wild Goose canning line
• Assist with keg filling, keg washing, and packaging runs
• Monitor fill quality, seam checks, date coding, carbonation, and packaging standards
• Palletize finished goods and move product into cold storage
• Minimize product loss and material waste during runs
• Assist with troubleshooting equipment issues during packaging days

Cellar Operations

• Perform CIP procedures on tanks, hoses, pumps, and production equipment
• Assist with tank transfers, carbonation, dry hopping, and cellar prep
• Monitor tank pressures, temperatures, and basic quality checkpoints
• Maintain strong sanitation standards throughout all production areas
• Support yeast handling and fermentation tasks as assigned

Warehouse & General Brewery Duties

• Maintain organized cellar, packaging hall, warehouse, and cold storage areas
• Rotate inventory FIFO
• Receive materials and help stage production supplies
• Safely operate pallet jack and forklift when needed
• Complete production logs and required paperwork accurately
• Support additional brewery production tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Commercial brewery packaging, cellar, or production experience preferred
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues
• Strong attention to detail and pride in clean work
• Team-first attitude with ability to take direction
• Forklift experience preferred
• Must be 21+ years old

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for long periods
• Ability to lift 55 lbs regularly
• Ability to move kegs, raw materials, hoses, and packaging supplies
• Ability to work in wet, cold, hot, loud, and fast-paced environments
• Ability to climb stairs, ladders, bend, twist, kneel, and move quickly when needed
