We’ve built a strong presence in specialty retail and direct-to-consumer sales, and we’re now expanding into grocery, foodservice, and national wholesale channels. To help guide this exciting next phase of growth, we’re looking for an experienced, strategic, and results-driven National Sales Manager to join our leadership team.

Position Summary

The National Sales Manager will lead all sales activities across national and regional accounts, including grocery, natural, mass, and specialty retail channels. This individual will develop and execute strategies to drive significant revenue growth, build long-term relationships with distributors and key accounts, and help position True Honey Teas as a major player in the natural beverage category.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a national sales strategy to expand True Honey Teas’ presence in grocery, club, and foodservice channels.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing sales team and broker network across regions.
  • Identify, secure, and manage key national and regional retail accounts (e.g., Whole Foods, Sprouts, Wegmans, Costco, Target, etc.).
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, promotional plans, and placement agreements with buyers and distributors.
  • Oversee trade marketing programs, category management, and promotional budgets to maximize ROI.
  • Collaborate with operations, marketing, and leadership to align production, logistics, and brand strategy with sales growth goals.
  • Analyze performance metrics and market trends to inform forecasting, pricing, and expansion plans.
  • Represent True Honey Teas at major industry trade shows and events.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive sales experience in CPG, natural beverage, or grocery retail (tea, beverage, or snack category preferred).
  • Proven track record of building and managing national retail accounts and distributor relationships.
  • Strong understanding of grocery sales dynamics, category management, and promotional planning.
  • Experience managing brokers, sales teams, and budgets.
  • Excellent negotiation, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Highly motivated, entrepreneurial, and strategic thinker.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
