Draft Beer Technician Supervisor

The Draft Beer Technician Supervisor oversees, directs, and coordinates the activities of all Draft Beer Technicians to ensure proper and efficient operations at all Sapporo accounts.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead all Draft Beer Technicians (DBTs) and supervise day-to-day operations by planning, assigning, and directing work
• Work closely and consult with direct leader, Area Sales Manager, to ensure efficient operations of team
• Support accounts on as needed basis, including draft line cleaning, new installation, trouble shooting, and communicating with distributors and accounts
• Utilize sales data report from distributors each month and manually update account list
• Assist with recruiting Draft Beer Technicians through interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training new employees
• Conduct annual/mid-year performance reviews and hold development conversations with direct reports
• Monitor team performance through coaching, recognition, addressing concerns and resolving issues that arise
• Comply with ABC requirements
• Oversee routing/weekly schedule to achieve a high level of productivity and efficiency
• Coordinate third party support to assist with advanced technical issues as needed
• Create meaningful and cost-effective relationships with various suppliers and vendors
• Maintain various reports and key performance indicators on effectiveness and maintenance

REQUIREMENTS

• Associate degree or equivalent education from technical school; or 3 to 5 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 4+ years of supervisor experience in draft beer maintenance preferred
• Regular travel required to retail accounts. Must have a clean Motor Vehicle Record and reliable transportation with vehicle insurance in good standing
• Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 Suite, specifically Outlook and Excel
• Excellent written and oral communication and comprehension skills
• Ability to problem-solve for several concrete variables in standardized situations
• Operate efficiently and completes work in timely manner while striving to increase productivity
• May occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
