Job Responsibilities

  • Startup and closing of the canning line, keg washing/filling station
  • Operate canning line and/or fill kegs with minimal supervision
  • Execute pre-production QA/QC of equipment in accordance with the site’s quality requirements
  • Routine checks and assist with preventative maintenance of equipment
  • Efficient completion of packaging, final assembly, and storage
  • Product labeling and inspection of final products
  • Completion of distribution documentation
  • Organize raw materials and finished goods with pallet jacks and forklifts
  • Maintain high standard of cleanliness for all equipment and the facility
  • Report issues when they arise – this should be done quickly to minimize any impact on the efficiency of production
  • Maintain all relevant documentation for equipment and process
  • Assist in the loading and unloading of vendor and distributor deliveries and pick ups
  • Update packaging information and inventories in the brewery management software (Ekos Brewmaster)
  • Willingness to occasionally assist with non-production projects


Qualifications

  • Minimum one year of experience working with commercial pieces of equipment
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-tasking; strong communication skills
  • Ability to lift 55 lbs. and move up to 165 lbs. using traditional methods
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment yet be precise in daily tasks
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and attentive to quality and standards
  • Confident and team-oriented
  • Have an acute understanding of the normal function of our machinery as well as a good understanding of basic troubleshooting
  • Ability to load and drive 20’ box truck
  • Strong mechanical aptitude & problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge/understanding of basic hand and power tools
  • Self-motivated and ability to perform tasks independently
  • Ability to arrange and wrap pallets for safe transportation
  • Ability to learn manufacturing equipment, follow production procedures and exercise extreme caution when handling chemicals, hot water, and high-pressure gasses and tanks
  • Comfortable working with Macintosh computers and using various SAS programs
