Position Overview:

The General Manager (GM) is responsible for leading all physically-local operations at Revival Gourmet Foods, including Production, QA, Maintenance & Engineering, Logistics, Planning / Supply Chain, HR and Finance. As the day-to-day leader of the operating team, the GM develops and oversees execution of our strategy to deliver against partner demand, driving sustainable profits and cash flow. The GM works with and ensures support for our CEO and CRO (head of Revenue), as they focus on top-line growth, gross margins (pricing), and capital allocation (capex / facility improvements).

Key Responsibilities: 

Ensure Revival Gourmet delivers against our mission; reporting to the CEO, alongside the CRO (Chief Revenue Officer), the GM is responsible for hiring and managing the senior operational team; keeping us tight, focused, effective

• Operating steward of executing our mission
• Delivering delicious, safe food that delights consumers and partners
• Producing consistently to mutually established expectations 
• Ensuring a safe, rewarding work environment 
• Generating growing, sustainable profits
• Hire and manage local senior operational team (direct reports) 
• Own / co-own key external vendor relationships (suppliers; equipment + service vendors; other) 
• Drive a culture of tight, focused execution; continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Successful track record as General Manager or Plant Manager at a food manufacturing plant of similar or bigger scale
• Proven ability to set and meeting strategic goals (e.g., profitability, throughput, quality targets), including cross-functional coordination and the judicious use of inside + outside talent / capabilities
• Expertise in managing production responsibilities: production; equipment engineering + maintenance; QA + sanitation; logistics
• Experience managing local teams with non-production responsibilities: Supply-Chain; HR; Finance
• Expertise in strategic thinking, data-driven decision-making, and partner-centric mindset.
• Exceptional interpersonal and leadership capabilities, with a proven ability to cultivate high-performance teams and build effective cross-functional partnerships with Sales and Capital Allocation.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and comfort operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
