The National Account Manager – Midwest is responsible for developing and growing the company’s business within chain accounts across the Midwest footprint. This role reports to the VP of National Accounts and collaborates closely with retail buyers, distributors, and the Radeberger Gruppe USA field sales team to ensure consistent execution of company priorities and growth objectives.

Location Requirement

This role is remote, however candidates must reside in the Dallas, Houston, or Chicago areas.



Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow distribution, sales, and visibility within key grocery, liquor, convenience, and club chain accounts across the Midwest region.
  • Leverage existing relationships and build new connections with chain buyers and category managers.
  • Conduct data analysis and develop sales presentations that increase feature activity, displays, distribution, and shelf placement to drive volume and market share.
  • Utilize category management tools to maximize shelf presence and cold box placement across assigned accounts.
  • Analyze and report account performance using Nielsen, IRI/Circana, and VIP data.
  • Utilize customer portals and manage NIF (New Item Forms) and submission processes where required.
  • Execute customer development strategies aligned with marketing and senior leadership priorities.
  • Maintain proactive communication with distributors and field sales teams regarding chain opportunities, execution standards, and performance updates.
  • Work closely with field sales teams to ensure strong in-store execution across distributor partners.
  • Provide regular performance updates and identify opportunities with clear ROI recommendations for senior management.
  • Travel within the region to support chain meetings, distributor alignment, and market visits.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field
  • 5+ years of National Account sales experience within the beer, beverage, or consumer packaged goods industry
  • Established relationships within grocery, liquor, convenience, or club channels
  • Headquarters and buyer relationships within Midwest chain accounts strongly preferred
  • Strong analytical and category management skills
  • Proficiency with Nielsen, VIP, and consumer insights data
  • Experience managing retailer portals and item submission processes
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational, planning, and follow-up abilities
  • Understanding of building and delivering profitable business growth


Travel Requirements

  • Up to 50% travel
  • Must maintain good credit, own a dependable vehicle, and possess a valid driver’s license
