Citrus is the third flavor to be added to the Crunk Energy Drink lineup. They seem to have intentionally kept it close to the style of the original drink in both flavor and style, so it's the type of product that will likely have appeal to consumers who are already in tune with the Crunk brand. Inside the can is a pleasant, moderately sweet citrus flavor, which has a CSD like body with only a hint of energy finish. They've kept it simple with the can design, essentially swapping the red hues of the flagship flavor with a greenish yellow. Overall, this drink has solid execution and while not overly innovative per se, it complements its counterparts quite nicely.

Sugar Free Crunk

BevNET Review:
Crunk's Sugar Free rendition is just as a pretty good adaptation of the original, with a crisp pomegranate flavor (derived from real juice) that finishes with a mild amount of "energy." As far as diet energy drinks go, this product is about average in terms of sweetener aftertaste, which is the result of the sucralose and acesulfame potassium blend used in the product. Packaging uses industry standard white/silver color coding to designate that this is the sugar free variety of the line. It's a bit busy on the front, but otherwise an enjoyable addition to the Crunk brand.

Crunk!!! Energy Drink

Crunk is a very unique tasting energy drink that uses a flavor that has previously been untapped in the energy drink category -- pomegranate. The flavor is quite good as it is tart and potent enough to cover any aftertaste that this drink may have had. With over a dozen ingredients, the energy formulation is quite extensive compared to many other products out there. As for the brand, the phrase "Crunk!!!" offers a unique call to action for all those who are familiar with the man behind this product -- Lil' Jon, a musician who is the self proclaimed "King of Crunk". Regardless of if you know him or not, the appeal to Crunk!!! is still there as its innocuous appearance (compared to the often offensive or misunderstood energy drink brands) certainly has the potential to attract consumers of all types. Overall, we like the look and love the taste of Crunk.
