Gulf Coast Tangerine

BevNET Review:
Gulf Coast Tangerine is best compared to Orangina, but with the sweetness level turned up a notch. It's a very accurate product, which is no surprise given that the product is formulated with 50 percent juice. Perhaps the only downside of the formulation is that there is a bit of white grape that leaves an aftertaste. Still, it's a very good product which definitely beats its competitors.

Red Hill Pomegranate

BevNET Review:
Fizzy Lizzy's entry into the pomegranate category is a pretty decent one. The flavor isn't overly tart, which is probably a good thing for mainstream drinkers, but then again there's a bit too much white grape flavor showing through. The fourth round of Fizzy Lizzy packaging feels more traditional than previous efforts, with a new Fizzy Lizzy logo that's surrounded by retro style text. While we like the logo, the gold text is something that we can live without, especially if they are going to continue to use a clear label.

Yakima Valley Grape

BevNET Review:
As far as grape soda goes, this is definitely one of the most natural tasting products that we've ever sampled. It's not like your typical grape soda in the sense that it doesn't taste like candy -- it actual smells and tastes like homemade grape juice. The packaging certainly fits with the homemade style of the fluid, but we think it would look a lot better without the words surrounding the Fizzy Lizzy logo. Overall, a near perfect taste but it could use some simplification on the front of the label.

Pacific Raspberry Lemon

Crisp, lemony, sweet, sour, tangy, with a hint of raspberry. Clean finish. Wish we had more. Sound like an ad? It isn�t. Lizzy has struck again with a terrific sparkling juice drink. The pink color of the fluid pairs nicely with the Fizzy Lizzy logo, resulting in a product that has a feminine feeling to it. Like the other varieties, we'd probably like it better without the gold text on the front of the label -- or perhaps a different backdrop instead of the clear label. Otherwise, this is a well executed carbonated juice product that's quite enjoyable.

Passionfruit

Outtasight! This is close to a perfect beverage. Densely flavored and colored but lightened by carbonation, sweet but not overly so, and tinged with the slightly exotic, tropical taste of passionfruit, we could not have enjoyed it more. The grape juice concentrate used as the sweetener blends into the flavor profile perfectly and is nearly undistinguishable in the mix. The 12-ounce stock bottle is also a classic of understatement. Definitely a great addition to the Fizzy Lizzy line.

Mount Fuji Apple

Fizzy Lizzy's Fuji Apple is a lightly carbonated and lightly sweet sparkling fruit juice beverage. Made with 70 percent fruit juice, this product has a very natural taste to it -- one that has no added sugar to it. The simplicity of this beverage is what makes it taste so great. The graphics on the label are well done and offer a visually appealing presentation that will help lure the consumer in. Overall, Fizzy Lizzy Fuji Apple is a great addition to the brand -- their best to date. We highly recommend it.

Lone Star Grapefruit

While we know that a product that uses as much fresh juice as Fizzy Lizzy is bound to have some variation from batch to batch, the pinker color of the juice in the �new� grapefruit formulation that Fizzy Lizzy sent us was striking; we don�t know if it�s a sourcing difference or simply an age point, but the new stuff looked much brighter. In terms of taste, the old stuff seemed to have a more consistent, milder flavor, while the new formulation has a bit more sweetness up front and, as a result, a more sharply pronounced bitter bite at the end. Otherwise, the appearance and flavor aren�t so much of a change that they�re going to win or lose more than a few people at the margins. Either you like Fizzy Lizzy or you don�t; we still do.

Northern Lights Cranberry

Fizzy Lizzy Cranberry has just the right amount of bite and is not overpowering or overly sweet. This is definitely the type of product that we would love to consume on a regular basis -- it's simple, natural, and has just the right amount of flavor. A job well done by Fizzy Lizzy. Our only beef with the new rendition is the "Northern Lights" that prefixes the name. We don't think that most consumers will get this -- and it certainly doesn't help the sale.

Costa Rican Pineapple

Fizzy Lizzy's Costa Rican Pineapple is a very refreshing blend of pineapple juice and seltzer. The resulting beverage is very clean and very simple -- just the natural flavor of pineapple juice and bubbling sparkling water. How can we not like it? "Simplizzity" proves to make a great beverage. Definitely the best product in the Fizzy Lizzy lineup.
