Position Overview

Good Boy Vodka is seeking an experienced National Director of On-Premise Accounts to lead the development and growth of our national and strategic on-premise business. This individual will be responsible for building relationships with key decision-makers across national and regional restaurant groups, bars, hospitality groups, entertainment venues, hotels, casinos, golf and resort properties, and other high-value on-premise accounts.

This is a highly commercial, relationship-driven role requiring a strong understanding of the beverage alcohol industry, distributor networks, national account selling, and on-premise programming. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on—capable of opening major accounts while working closely with our regional sales teams, distributor partners, and marketing team to ensure programs are successfully executed at the market and account level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute Good Boy's national on-premise account strategy, identifying priority accounts and growth opportunities across key channels.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with national and regional buyers, beverage directors, procurement teams, operators, and other key decision-makers.
  • Secure new authorizations, menu placements, cocktail features, pouring opportunities, and national/regional programs that expand distribution and increase velocity.
  • Lead annual planning, presentations, business reviews, and negotiations with strategic on-premise partners.
  • Develop account-specific programming that drives measurable sales while supporting Good Boy's overall brand strategy.
  • Work closely with distributor national account teams and local market teams to secure distribution and ensure execution of authorized programs.
  • Establish clear communication between national accounts, Good Boy regional sales leadership, and distributor partners so programs are properly aligned before execution begins.
  • Partner with Marketing to develop account-specific programming, POS, menus, activations, events, and promotional support.
  • Ensure national programs are communicated effectively to regional sales teams and wholesalers, with clear responsibilities, timelines, and execution expectations.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance on pricing, programming, inventory requirements, promotional calendars, and account needs.
  • Identify opportunities for Good Boy's portfolio across different on-premise occasions, consumer demographics, and account types.
  • Analyze account-level sales, depletion, distribution, velocity, and program performance to identify opportunities and improve ROI.
  • Develop sales forecasts, account plans, KPIs, and performance reporting for national on-premise business.
  • Monitor competitive activity, category trends, and emerging on-premise opportunities.
  • Manage national on-premise trade spend and programming budgets responsibly, with an emphasis on measurable return.
  • Represent Good Boy at buyer meetings, trade shows, industry events, and key account activations.
  • Maintain a strong pipeline of prospective national and regional accounts and provide regular reporting on progress, opportunities, and risks.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of beverage alcohol sales experience, preferably within spirits and/or RTDs.
  • 3+ years of national or strategic on-premise account experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success securing and growing large multi-unit on-premise accounts.
  • Existing relationships with national and regional restaurant, hospitality, entertainment, hotel, casino, and/or venue groups strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of the U.S. three-tier system and experience working with major wholesalers and distributor national account teams.
  • Proven ability to take an account opportunity from initial buyer presentation through authorization, distributor alignment, launch, and market-level execution.
  • Strong understanding of menu strategy, cocktail programming, promotions, pricing, and on-premise activation.
  • Ability to analyze depletion, distribution, velocity, and account performance data and translate insights into action.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-management skills.
  • Highly organized and capable of managing multiple national programs and priorities simultaneously.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-growing environment where priorities can change quickly.
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating extensively across Sales, Marketing, and Operations.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 30–50%.

What Success Looks Like

Success in this role is not simply measured by the number of national account authorizations secured. The National Director of On-Premise Accounts will be accountable for turning those authorizations into actual distribution, placements, velocity, and sustainable case growth.

The right person will build a strong pipeline of national opportunities, deepen Good Boy's relationships with strategic accounts and distributor partners, and ensure that programs sold at the national level are effectively executed in individual markets.

What We Offer

  • Competitive base salary and performance-based bonus.
  • Health benefits
  • Opportunity to play a significant role in the growth of a rapidly expanding beverage company.
  • Entrepreneurial environment with the ability to make a direct impact.
  • Collaborative, energetic team culture.
  • Opportunity to help build the national on-premise strategy rather than simply inherit an established program.
