Area Sales Manager
The market is open. The doors are waiting. Go build it.
Most sales roles hand you a mature route, a fixed list of accounts and a narrow lane. This one hands you whitespace. Beverage Capital Group is building three emerging beverage brands in markets where the routes are still taking shape, and plenty of doors are still open. You will not spend your time negotiating with other internal reps over who owns the best accounts. You will find the opportunity, get the meeting and build the business.
This is a field-based role for an ambitious seller who wants more than an inherited book of business. If you know the local beverage market and can turn relationships into meetings, meetings into placements, and placements into repeat business, you can make a visible impact here.
Three brands. More ways to win.
You will represent a portfolio with three distinct personalities and multiple ways into an account. Every customer does not need every brand. Your job is to understand the account, spot the best fit, and create the right opening.
Functional Energy | Energy with range. An ultra-premium energy beverage designed to stand on its own or work as a mixer, creating opportunities across convenience, retail, and on-premise accounts.
Lifestyle Hydration | Hydration with a lifestyle. A hydration brand built for music, festivals, nightlife, and active consumers.
Social Wellness | A different kind of opening. A wellness-focused beverage with opportunities in liquor and package stores, convenience retail, and on-premise environments.
Why this role has real upside
·Open territory. This is as close to a clean slate as a sales territory gets.
·No internal turf wars. You will not be boxed into a short list of named accounts while the best prospects belong to someone else.
·Three ways into the door. A broader portfolio gives you more reasons to start a conversation and more opportunities to expand an account.
·Work people will notice. In an early-stage sales organization, the accounts you open and the market intelligence you bring back can directly influence how the business grows.
·A role built for momentum. Approximately 70% of your focus will be winning new business, with the remaining 30% supporting priority accounts and helping new placements stick.
What you will get to build
·A pipeline and relationship base spanning independent operators, local chains, convenience stores, liquor and package stores, bars, restaurants and other high potential accounts
·A territory call plan based on real opportunity rather than an inherited route
·New placements supported by smart merchandising, sampling and local activations
·Productive working relationships with distributor representatives so orders move from commitment to delivery
·A strong feedback loop that brings customer insights, competitive activity and larger opportunities back to company leadership
How you will win
We are not looking for someone who simply collects doors. We want someone who opens the right accounts, gets product into market, and helps early placements become productive, sustainable business.
·Qualified new accounts opened
·New account revenue and gross profit
·Initial orders successfully delivered
·Reorders and early account retention
·Product velocity and in-store execution
·Multi-brand placements when they genuinely fit the customer, supported by consistent territory coverage and disciplined CRM reporting
You will thrive here if you
·Have two or more years of field sales, outside sales or business development experience in beverages, alcohol, or a closely related industry
·Have personally opened new retail or on-premise accounts and bring active relationships with buyers, operators, local chains, or beverage distributors in your market
·Can turn those relationships into real buyer meetings, not just possible introductions
·Enjoy cold prospecting, frequent account visits, and managing a wide territory with limited day-to-day direction
·Are comfortable carrying samples, supporting merchandising, and doing the hands-on work that helps an emerging brand win
·Have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel regularly throughout the territory
This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports at launch. Strong results can create growth opportunities for broader responsibility as the portfolio and sales organization grow.
