About Us

We’re an established, 6-year-old brewpub in Miami, FL, that opened our doors in October 2020. From their experience with one of the premier breweries in Australia, the partners want to share the unique Aussie brewpub experience with the people of Miami. Our vision is simple: blend authentic Australian hospitality with amazing craft beer, exceptional food and a great environment.

While we utilize plenty of Southern Hemisphere hops to highlight styles prevalent in Australia—alongside plenty of scope for global flavor exploration—we are not a themed venue. We are simply passionate about sharing great beer. To help our Head Brewer truly absorb our roots, a willingness to travel to experience Australian breweries, food, and beer styles is highly desirable.

Summary of Position

The Head Brewer is the heart of our brewery operations and is  responsible for all things beer, from grain to glass and everything in between. You will uphold impeccable quality standards, work with management to train and educate restaurant staff, mentor brewery assistants, and maintain a pristine, positive work environment.

As a key leader, you will motivate the team to ensure brewing goals are met while championing our brand standards. We see our Head Brewer as a vital contributor to a high-quality guest experience, thriving in an informal, fun environment where there is shared pride in our beer, food, and ambience.

Core Responsibilities

  • Production & Recipe Curating: Oversee end-to-end brewing, cellaring, and packaging. Curate and innovate beer recipes, balancing core Australian-influenced styles with experimental local trends.
  • Quality & Operations: Maintain absolute consistency and best-quality standards across all batches. Manage raw material inventory, ordering, and supplier relationships.
  • Team Leadership & Education: Train, mentor, and safely guide brewery staff. Conduct regular beer education sessions for front-of-house and kitchen teams to elevate the guest experience.
  • Brand Ambassadorship: Engage with the community, host brewery tours, and occasionally share a beer and a chat with our guests in the taproom or on the patio.
  • Compliance & Maintenance: Ensure strict adherence to federal and state regulations regarding brewed beer products. Maintain a safe, clean, and mechanically sound brewhouse environment.

Desired Characteristics

  • Detail-Oriented: Focused heavily on quality, consistency, and strict operational processes.
  • Driven: Possess a self-starting work ethic, absolute reliability, and a strong sense of pride in both personal and team performance.
  • Collaborative: A mature, honest communicator across all levels of the organization who thrives in a team-focused environment.
  • Safety-First: Committed to proper safety protocols, hazardous material handling, and correct machinery operation.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of professional brewing experience. Prior Head Brewer experience and a proven track record of recipe creation are highly preferred.
  • Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of brewing science, brewery technology, global brewing trends, and supply chain options.
  • Vision: Ability to clearly articulate a distinct style, philosophy, and long-term vision for the venue's beer program.
  • Industry Connection: Existing connections within the local and/or national craft beer industry are a plus.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and move as required in a physical brewery setting. Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds and safely maneuver up to 170 pounds.
  • Logistics: Must possess a valid driver’s license, have reliable transportation, and be legally eligible to work in the United States.

Note: All applicants must agree to a background check and provide professional references.
