In less than a year, Pronghorn has initiated a needed transformation of the spirits landscape for Black founders. Acting urgently on its mission to boost Black spirits entrepreneurship, the firm has led over 20 investments since launching in 2022, including nine women-led brands and the country’s only Black farm-to-distiller, all of whom are breaking new ground in the industry. Pronghorn is creating a live template on how to diversify any industry, while reinforcing the narrative that investing in underrepresented entrepreneurs and appealing to underrepresented customers is not only a social good— it’s good business.
