Maine Root Sodas: Sarsaparilla

This is a high-quality, highly digestive root soda with a drier finish than a traditional root beer. When poured, it’s got a great, clear-elixir appearance and a strong sugary taste with small bits of wintergreen. The label is attractive, with earth tones and a pencil drawing to reinforce its simple, organic ingredients. There’s a tiny bit of the flavor profile that’s incomplete – not watery, but nevertheless held back, and that holds this back a bit, too.
