While Mistic claims that Berry RE is an energy drink, it's much different than your typical energy drink. Right from the start, even the packaging is different -- this one comes in metal bottle. As for the flavor, it's relatively easy on the palate compared to your standard energy drink, but we wouldn't say that it tastes good. It uses a variety of fruit flavors and has a ghastly blue color that is reminiscent of Kool Aid. In addition, it uses high fructose corn syrup, and it really shows. Of course, this product has the four standard energy drink ingredients -- taurine, caffine, ginseng, and guarana -- so we guess that it probably gives you the same boost as the competition. Overall, a mediocre product with a better than average package.
