Regatta Craft Mixers: Original

Using a formula that tastes similar to the US version of Barritts Ginger Beer, Regatta is, just like its predecessor, one of the best ginger beers around. It has a subtle ginger spice that won’t overpower you, but is still big on flavor. The packaging is admittedly not as appealing as a bottle bearing the Barritts name, especially given that the Regatta brand has neither history nor meaning. The brand feels clean in design, but it doesn’t really jump out at you. It’s going to fall to the brand owner, Affinity, to make something of it: technically speaking, the formulation is superb -- better than Barritts, in our opinion -- and the packaging looks professional. Now it’s time to see if they can recreate the magic that Barritts has.
