Job Responsibilities:
- Engage with the distributor team to a foster partnership with UPTIME.
- Become an expert on the energy drink category in customer stores to optimize UPTIME presence to drive revenue, which includes monitoring market conditions, product innovations and competitors' products, prices, placements, and sales.
- Regularly contact consumers to introduce new products, gain placements, expand distribution within assigned territory
- Negotiate with retail merchants to improve UPTIME exposure such as shelf positioning and display opportunities.
- Plan, assemble and stock product displays in retail stores or make recommendations to retailers regarding product displays, promotional programs, and advertising.
Job Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of beverage sales experience
- Excellent time management skills
- Highly motivated self-starter
- Great attention to detail, competent written & reporting skills
- Understanding of distributor and retail business operations- pricing, margins, shelf space
- Critical/forward thinking
- Ability to operate in an autonomous work environment and be initiative-taking.
- Strong business acumen, relationship management skills and customer focus
- Physically able to lift/move product cases and place POS (up to 70lbs)
- Must possess a dependable vehicle, valid driver's license, proof of state auto registration, auto insurance, and an acceptable driving record.
- The position is remote. Candidates must be able to travel a minimum of 50% of working time.
- The candidate must live within the assigned territory.
