Role Overview
The Sales Associate is responsible for supporting the Sales team by driving Asian distributor sales growth and maintaining strong distributor account relationships across assigned markets. This role plays a key part in expanding regional market presence, ensuring distributor satisfaction, supporting revenue goals, and maintaining efficient communication and coordination between distributors and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieving growth, researching, and?maintaining?new and current accounts.
- Continual visits and travel to assigned territories, locally and out of state.
- Meeting and providing customer service needs for distributor partners as well as new and established restaurant customers.
- Executing demo cuttings, presentations, ride-alongs?and trade shows.
- Organize and log current and up-to-date information involving sales leads and?acquired?market research information.
- Keeping?accurate?records of sales activity, forecasts, and customer feedback.
- Identifying?and?contacting?potential clients through networking, calls, and emails.
- Understanding customer needs, presenting product/ service?solutions, and providing solutions to concerns.
- Willing?to learn and educate others to understand our product lines.
- Willing to work on weekends
- Willing to travel
- Other duties as assigned
Experience & Qualifications
- Must LOVE noodles!
- 3+ years of Manufacturing/ Distribution Sales
- Has built a good rapport with Large & Local Food Distributors and/or restaurants
- 2+ years of experience in Food Industry
- Comfortable communicating product information to groups.
- Willing to travel domestically outside of California through different means of transportation-?car,?train, airplane, etc.
- Has a passion for Ramen, Noodles, Customer Service & Sales!
