About AMIGOS

AMIGOS is a growing brand in the hemp-derived, beverage, and alternative wellness space, built for customers who want quality, consistency, and an experience they can trust. We are looking for experienced sales professionals who know how to bring a product to market, open wholesale doors, create new opportunities, and build lasting account relationships.

Position Summary

The Sales Representative will be responsible for developing wholesale sales opportunities for AMIGOS across their assigned Florida territory. This person will identify potential accounts, build relationships with buyers and business owners, attend trade shows and industry events, present the AMIGOS brand, close new business, and support long-term account growth.

The ideal candidate has strong wholesale sales experience and understands how to sell products that require education, trust, and relationship-building. They should be comfortable speaking with retailers, distributors, smoke shops, specialty stores, beverage buyers, and other wholesale partners.

This is a role for a self-starter, not an order taker. We are looking for someone who can create momentum, not wait for it.

Compensation & Benefits

This is a base-plus-commission role built to reward reps who grow their territory. On-target total compensation is $60,000–$100,000+, combining a competitive base salary with uncapped commission.

  • Base salary: Competitive, based on experience and territory
  • Commission: Earned on new accounts opened and cases sold. Rates are set per SKU, with separate rates for our 10mg and 50mg products.
  • Payout schedule: Commission is paid monthly or quarterly, depending on your compensation plan.
  • Car stipend: Monthly vehicle allowance for territory travel
  • Paid time off: 20 days of PTO per year
  • Introductory period: 90 days
  • Performance-driven: Reps who consistently hit territory targets land in the upper part of the range. Top performers can go beyond it.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow wholesale sales opportunities for AMIGOS within an assigned Florida territory (Jacksonville, Miami, Broward County, or West Palm Beach).
  • Prospect and secure new business with retailers, distributors, smoke shops, beverage accounts, wellness stores, specialty retailers, and other wholesale partners.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through cold outreach, networking, referrals, trade shows, industry events, and independent market development.
  • Represent AMIGOS professionally at trade shows, expos, buyer meetings, sampling opportunities, and industry events.
  • Present products, pricing, promotions, brand value, and account opportunities clearly and persuasively to prospective and existing accounts.
  • Develop strong relationships with buyers, store owners, purchasing managers, distributors, and key decision-makers.
  • Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions to support account growth.
  • Educate prospective and existing accounts on product positioning, customer appeal, responsible sales practices, and brand differentiation.
  • Close new accounts and continue supporting existing accounts to drive repeat orders and long-term revenue.
  • Identify opportunities for brand expansion, market penetration, and account-level growth within the assigned territory.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, pricing, buyer feedback, and category movement.
  • Maintain accurate sales activity, pipeline updates, account notes, and follow-up records in company systems.
  • Partner with internal teams to support order flow, customer questions, product availability, onboarding, and account needs.
  • Meet or exceed sales goals, activity expectations, and revenue targets.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of product compliance, age-restricted sales requirements, and applicable Florida hemp and cannabinoid regulations.
  • Act as a professional representative of the AMIGOS brand at all times.

Qualifications

  • Proven success in wholesale sales, territory sales, cannabis, hemp, CBD, smoke shop, vape, alternative wellness, CPG, beverage, or related industries.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate new business independently and manage a full sales cycle from prospecting through close.
  • Strong existing network within the Florida cannabis, hemp, smoke shop, wholesale, distributor, specialty retail, beverage, or related channels strongly preferred.
  • Experience selling to retailers, distributors, buyers, business owners, or wholesale accounts.
  • Ability to confidently discuss hemp-derived, CBD, cannabinoid, beverage, wellness, or alternative wellness products.
  • Strong prospecting, negotiation, presentation, communication, and closing skills.
  • Comfortable working remotely and managing a self-directed sales schedule.
  • Ability to travel within the assigned Florida territory, plus trade shows and industry events.
  • Excellent follow-up and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple accounts, prospects, and opportunities at once.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must reside in or near Jacksonville, Miami, Broward County, or West Palm Beach, with reliable transportation for in-market account visits.
  • Must understand the importance of compliance, professionalism, and responsible sales practices in the hemp industry.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is an experienced sales professional who knows how to build business from the ground up. They are comfortable walking into a trade show, starting conversations, pitching a brand, following up quickly, and turning interest into orders.

They are polished, hungry, resilient, and confident. They understand that strong sales come from relationships, consistency, product knowledge, and disciplined follow-through.

This person may already have strong relationships with Florida retailers, smoke shops, beverage buyers, distributors, hemp/CBD accounts, or wellness retailers and knows how to convert those relationships into meaningful sales.
