Apply for this JobThe Senior Account Executive – Sales will play a pivotal role in expanding Hemp Supply Prime's retail and wholesale footprint in the hemp and wellness consumer packaged goods (CPG) space. The ideal candidate will be responsible for recruiting and onboarding new clients, leveraging an existing portfolio of clients valued at $1M+ in monthly sales volume, and leading sales strategies that align with our company’s growth objectives. The ideal candidate will help lead the charge in solidifying Hemp Supply Prime’s position as a top player in the CPG sector, especially within convenience stores, smoke shops, gas stations, and large-box beverage retailers.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Market Expansion:
- Lead initiatives to expand Hemp Supply Prime's presence in the retail and wholesale hemp and wellness CPG space.
- Cultivate new prospective relationships with key stakeholders in convenience stores, smoke shops, gas stations, and large-box beverage retailers.
- Leverage your existing network of clients to open doors for new opportunities in retail, e-commerce, and distribution channels.
Account Management & Retention:
- Maintain and expand relationships with a portfolio of high-value accounts, driving continuous growth and retention.
- Act as the main point of contact for top clients, ensuring all needs are met and resolving any issues to ensure long-term partnerships.
Sales Strategy & Leadership:
- Work alongside senior leadership to develop and implement sales strategies that align with company growth objectives.
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and acquiring new clients to negotiating contracts and closing deals.
- Monitor market trends, client feedback, and competitor activities to stay ahead of the curve in our industry's sales strategies.
Team Collaboration & Mentorship:
- Collaborate closely with the sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of business initiatives.
- Mentor junior sales team members, providing guidance on account management, negotiations, and territory development.
Industry Expertise & Networking:
- Utilize your network to tap into new opportunities, especially in retail, e-commerce, and distribution channels, helping Hemp Supply Prime build a wider market presence.
- Educate prospects and clients on the benefits and potential applications of hemp-based products in the wellness space.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Experience:
- 5–10 years of experience in **CPG sales** with a focus on **convenience stores**, **smoke shops**, **gas stations**, and **large-box beverage retailers**.
- Previous success in selling wellness, hemp, or natural goods products is highly preferred, with a demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles.
Network:
- Existing client portfolio in retail, e-commerce, or distribution channels valued at $1M+ in monthly sales volume.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and growing high-value accounts and partnerships.
Skills:
- Expert-level negotiation, territory management, and key account development.
- Strong ability to identify and capitalize on market expansion opportunities.
- Advanced proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and reporting tools to track performance and manage client relationships.
