Head Brewer – Eleven Eleven Brewing Company

We're looking for an experienced brewer to take the reins of our brewing operations and help shape the future of Eleven Eleven's award winning beer lineup. The ideal candidate will have experience brewing on a 3-10 bbl system, a passion for craft beer, technical proficiency, and a collaborative mindset.

You’ll be responsible for brewing our existing award-winning lineup while working closely with ownership to develop new seasonal and experimental releases. You'll play a key role in setup, process design, and scaling of all brewing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee brewing operations from grain to glass
• Maintain quality control and sanitation protocols
• Collaborate with ownership on recipe development and seasonal offerings
• Track inventory and place orders for raw materials
• Monitor fermentation and conditioning
• Perform basic equipment maintenance
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations

Requirements:

• 4+ years of professional brewing experience
• Comfortable brewing solo or with a small team and managing time independently
• Strong knowledge of brewing science and safety practices
• Ability to lift 55 lbs and work in hot/cold environments
• Extra points for experience with brewery start-up, system installation, or scaling production
• Creativity and entrepreneurial spirit

Schedule:

35–40 hours per week; flexible schedule.

Purcellville, VA (Loudoun County)
