Revolution Brewing and Reverb, our THC-infused beverage brand, are growing—and we’re looking for a seasoned sales leader to take the wheel. Reporting directly to ownership, our Director of Sales will lead the charge across our wholesale beer and THC beverage business, guiding a team of Regional Managers, National Accounts, and field staff to keep Revolution top-of-mind with distributors, chain accounts, and drinkers alike.

 

This isn’t a desk-only job—you’ll be in the market building relationships, setting strategy, and inspiring the team with the same passion and hustle that’s built Revolution into Chicago’s largest independent brewery. You’ll partner closely with Marketing, Operations, and Finance to deliver on ambitious goals, while keeping the culture fun, collaborative, and performance-driven.

 

This role is based in Chicago, our hometown and our only home base. Expect to be on the road weekly in Chicagoland, with regional and national travel as needed to keep Revolution moving forward.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead, coach, and grow a multi-state sales team while setting clear, motivating goals that align with meeting financial budgets and continual annual growth
  • Work hand-in-hand with local and national distributors and retail partners to keep Revolution and Reverb flowing in bars, restaurants, and stores, and guide our internal teams on growth to new states and territories
  • Craft annual business plans with ownership and Marketing, turning strategy into execution across all markets
  • Use data from tools like VIP, Nielsen, and Karma Notes to spot opportunities and push the business forward
  • Keep distributors engaged with pricing, planning, incentive programs, and regular joint business reviews
  • Champion new market opportunities and brand launches, working with Marketing to make a splash in both beer and THC beverage categories


Minimum Qualifications:

  • 8–10 years of progressive sales leadership, with multi-state experience and success driving growth through distributors and chain accounts
  • Experience managing a team of experienced sales leaders, and providing growth and guidance to an overall sales team
  • A knack for using data and analytics to inform smart decisions and creative strategies
  • Deep knowledge of the alcohol industry (bonus if you’ve worked in both beer and cannabis-adjacent categories)
  • Strong financial acumen and comfort with budgets, forecasting, and incentive programs
  • Someone who thrives on relationships—whether with a Regional Sales Manager, a chain buyer, or a distributor partner
  • A leader who models accountability, fosters career growth, and motivates teams to hit ambitious goals
  • Willingness to travel regionally and nationally, and to roll up your sleeves in the market
