Job description

The Zero Proof is building the future of non-alcoholic beverages. What started as a curated marketplace for the best non-alc spirits, wines, and beers has grown into a category leader — and we are now scaling our portfolio of owned brands. We are looking for applicants in NYC, Austin, Atlanta, Portland, LA, Seattle and San Fransisco.

Lapo’s is our Italian-inspired non-alcoholic aperitivo — built for the spritz moment and the bartender who wants a real bottle on the back bar.

Saint Viviana is our non-alcoholic wine — produced in Napa Valley from the finest winemakers and crafted for the modern wine program and the elevated NA menu.

Both brands are growing fast nationwide, and we are hiring an exceptional Field Sales Representative to own the on-premise and independent retail accounts that define our category.

The Role

As Field Sales Rep, you are the face of Lapo’s and Saint Viviana in one of the most important beverage markets in the country. You will spend the majority of your time in market — pitching bartenders, beverage directors, and store buyers; building menu placements and cold-box presence; and ensuring our brands show up on shelves, in glassware, and on cocktail menus across your city.

This is a building role. You will help shape how we win your own city — not just execute a playbook handed down. We are looking for someone with existing relationships in the beverage trade, a love of hospitality, and the hustle to move two challenger brands in a category that is being created in real time.

What You’ll Do

  • Sell new placements into bars, restaurants, hotels, and independent bottle shops across your city. Own a target account list and consistently open new doors for both brands.
  • Build cocktail menu placements and back-bar presence by partnering with beverage directors, head bartenders, and sommeliers. Train staff on the brands, build serves, and run tastings.
  • Grow velocity in existing accounts through regular visits, merchandising, well-built displays, fresh POS materials, and consistent reorders. Make sure our brands are visible, in stock, and selling.
  • Partner with our distributor reps — ride-alongs, joint sales calls, and weekly check-ins. Make Lapo’s and Saint Viviana the brands they want to lead with.
  • Activate the market with samplings, trade events, pop-ups, and cocktail competitions. Be a visible presence in the NA community.
  • Manage your day in CRM with disciplined logging of visits, accounts, and follow-ups. Report on depletions, distribution, and pipeline weekly.
  • Feed insights back to HQ — pricing intelligence, competitive launches, what is and isn’t resonating with operators and guests. You are our eyes and ears in the market.

What We’re Looking For

  • 2–5 years of beverage industry experience — beer, wine, spirits, or non-alc. Hospitality (bartending, beverage management) is a strong plus.
  • Existing relationships with on-premise and independent retail accounts. You know the buyers and they take your call.
  • A genuine love for cocktail and hospitality culture. You read menus for fun. You know who’s pouring what.
  • A self-starter who thrives without daily direction. You can build a target list, prioritize your week, and stay in market 4+ days a week.
  • Strong communication skills — equally at home in a back-of-house conversation with a chef and a Monday morning pipeline call with HQ.
  • Comfortable with sales tools — CRM (we use a modern stack), spreadsheets, and depletion reporting.
  • Conviction about the non-alcoholic category and where it’s going. Curiosity about how people drink — and don’t drink — today.
  • Valid driver’s license and the ability to carry product samples and POS materials around the city.
  • Must be 21+.

Nice to Have

  • Existing book of accounts — cocktail bars, fine-dining beverage programs, and indie wine & spirits shops.
  • Prior experience launching a challenger brand into a new market.
  • Bartending or beverage director experience.
  • Familiarity with the non-alcoholic category and its operators (free pour bars, NA-forward menus, sober-curious community).
