The Gist

This role leads a team of three Key Account Managers to deliver planning and 

development of the Lagunitas portfolio within On-Premise chain.  

 

Internal collaboration in the organization liaising with Senior Sales Leaders, Brand Marketing, Category Development, Finance/business intelligence and the Management Team.  

 

Externally, you will interact with Lagunitas’ largest on premise customers critical to our business success. The job requires previous account management experience, ability to understand and leverage syndicated data to influence customer decisions, and the ability to build a business plan aligned with Lagunitas’ strategic vision. 

 

What You’ll Do

  • Delivering business objectives within ON Premise Chain 
  • Creating a vision for success aligned with Lagunitas’ strategic goals. 
  • Coaching and developing a team of 3 Director reports. 
  • Using compelling data to gain distribution and feature activity aligned with Lagunitas’ priorities. 
  • Setting key performance management indicators for success, communicating and monitoring progress vs. goal 
  • Collaborating with Customer Marketing to bring Lagunitas’ promotional platforms to customer in a strategically aligned way. 

 

What We’re Lookin’ For

  • Bachelor’s Degree 
  • Experience leading a sales team through distributor management. 
  • Direct customer management experience in CPG 
  • Previous knowledge of 3-tier system

 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Previous success building delivers business results through customer management. 
  • Ability to create a vision for brands aligned with customers strategies. 
  • Experience building and executing business plans. 
  • Budget and resource management 
  • Excellent communication skills through multi mediums 
  • Ability to use Category Management and other syndicated data to influence. 
  • Distributor Management experience at a supplier helpful 
  • 10+ years’ experience in CPG selling with 5+ years managing Chain team.

  • Reports to head of sales

 

Physical Stuff

  • Able to use a computer, keyboard, and cell phone. 
  • Work environment is primarily indoors, majority of the time is spent sitting at a desk.
