Job Summary

As a Category Manager for CG Roxane, owner of the Crystal Geyser Alpine Spring Water, the #1 bottled water brand in California, you will work closely with our Marketing and Sales teams to define and execute growth strategies that drive success for both Crystal Geyser and our retail customers. You will leverage data insights, category trends, and customer relationships to enhance performance and maximize profitability. You will report to the VP of Marketing. You must have an advanced knowledge of syndicated data and shopper data tools such as Circana (IRI), Nielsen (NIQ), Numerator, or other relevant syndicated data tools relevant to the consumer goods industry.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of retailer-specific category growth strategies for assigned customers/retailers aligned with the company's goals.
  • Deliver actionable 4P insights (Products, Placement, Pricing, Promotion) that directly fuel selling efforts, and joint business planning.
  • Create customer-facing selling stories
  • Analyze category performance, market trends, and consumer data to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Support the sales teams efforts with category insights and strategy recommendations.
  • Participate in sales meetings/calls with the sales team.


Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in a customer-facing role within the FMCG/CPG industry.
  • Proven experience in sales, negotiation, and relationship management.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency with Nielsen or similar syndicated data tools.
  • Understanding of go-to-market strategies, customer structures, and business practices.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and influencing skills.
  • Proactive and results-driven mindset.
  • Experience with a retailer or similar accounts is a plus.
  • Good command of French or Spanish is an asset.
  • Occasional business trips required.


Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $80,000 – $95,000 (depending on experience, skills, and education)
