ABOUT THE ROLE
At Baxter Brewing Co., we believe great beer has a story, and the final chapter starts with you. As our Packaging Lead, you'll take charge of the last step before our beer hits shelves, fridges, and coolers across Maine. You'll make sure every can and keg meets our standards, lead day-to-day line operations, and keep things moving with consistency and care. You'll be part of a crew that takes pride in doing things right with purpose, attention to detail, and a shared love for what we brew.
The Packaging Lead is a key leadership role within our brewing operations team, responsible for the efficient, high-quality packaging of Baxter's craft beers to meet customer demand. You'll guide a packaging crew through 10-hour shifts, manage workflows, and use critical thinking to identify and address issues early, keeping production running smoothly and on schedule. You'll also work cross-functionally with other departments to implement improvements, track performance, and drive results without ever compromising quality.
The ideal candidate pairs hands-on operational experience with a strategic mindset. You're comfortable on the floor, quick to adapt to shifting priorities, and known for leading by example. You understand how to turn data into action, using insights to enhance performance, grow your team, and push continuous improvement forward.
