About David Klavsons

David Klavsons is a retail and consumer products executive with more than 30 years of senior-level experience in transforming and optimizing business performance, growth and innovation with industry leading food and beverage companies. Currently he serves as CEO of King Juice Company, Inc., maker of Calypso Lemonade.  Prior to joining King Juice Company, Inc., Klavsons held executive level positions at Glanbia Performance Nutrition, Hess Corporation, Kraft, Nabisco and PepsiCo. Most recently, he was president of Glanbia Performance Nutrition, North America where he oversaw a portfolio of brands including Isopure, Optimum Nutrition, BSN, and thinkThin. He was responsible for all aspects of the business and successfully drove growth through revamped marketing programs, accelerated innovation, and acquisition integration. Klavsons also spent time in the convenience retail channel, serving in several leadership roles for Hess Corporation’s convenience store business including executive vice president of operations and chief marketing officer. He’s accomplished in business turnarounds, driving profitable top-line growth, managing multiple productions sites and leading sales and supply chain to increase shareholder value. ?  David holds a B.S. in engineering from Clarkson University and completed an Executive Program at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
