New York, NY – February 4, 2026 – Wip, an innovative energy brand redefining the caffeine category with clean, convenient energy pouches, today announced the appointment of Joe Wichser as Senior Vice President of Sales. The hire comes as Wip builds on strong early traction and enters its next phase of rapid national expansion across retail and direct-to-consumer channels.

Designed for rising wellness and performance standards, Wip offers a next-generation energy pouch featuring natural caffeine from non-GMO green coffee beans, B vitamins that support energy metabolism and cognitive function, and chromium to support stable blood sugar levels, for bold energy without the sugar crash.

Since launching just six months ago, Wip has sold more than two million cans across retail and direct-to-consumer channels, quickly establishing itself as a leader in the fast-emerging energy pouch category. Over the same period, traffic to the company's website has climbed nearly 60 percent, underscoring accelerating consumer awareness and demand for the brand. Wip is now available in nearly 4,000 retail doors, with over 5,000 locations committed to launch, and is on track to reach 10,000 retail locations nationwide by the end of Q1 2026. The company has also secured national distributor and wholesaler partnerships to further accelerate expansion across the United States.

In his new role, Wichser will lead Wip's sales strategy and execution across key markets and channels, with a focus on expanding distribution, deepening strategic customer partnerships, and building scalable revenue programs to support the company's aggressive growth plans.

Wichser brings a strong track record of commercial leadership across high-growth consumer brands and large-scale national organizations. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Sales at Feastables, where he helped drive sales expansion and go-to-market execution. Prior to that, he was Vice President of Sales and Business Development at TRUBRANDS, leading sales growth initiatives and strategic business development efforts. Earlier in his career, Wichser spent nearly a decade at Reynolds American Inc., holding multiple leadership roles including Director of Area Operations and Senior Key Account Manager, developing deep expertise in customer strategy, operational execution, and cross-functional leadership.
