William Chris Vineyards Names Tate Gregory as Director of Vineyards Overseeing 61 Acres of Estate Vineyards Across Texas

Hye, Texas (February 10, 2026) - William Chris Vineyards is proud to announce the promotion of Tate Gregory to Director of Vineyards. In Gregory's new role, he will be responsible for ensuring world-class fruit production from 61 acres of estate vineyards at Hye Estate and Uplift Vineyard. He will also be leading the vineyard production team. As Director, Gregory will oversee the sustainability initiative across production grape quality and harvest logistics. Gregory has worked in various production roles for William Chris Vineyards over the last six years and most recently served as Vineyard Manager.

In addition to his work at William Chris Vineyards, Tate Gregory and his wife, Remi, have their own small wine start-up called The Burg Wine Company, which recently won a $10,000 grant from Texas Food and Wine Alliance. The William Chris Vineyard family could not be happier for the duo and stays committed to fostering talent and collaboration in the Texas wine industry. Gregory is currently on the board for Texas Wine Growers, a 501(c)(6) non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and protecting the integrity of Texas wine.
