Caliwater Flashes Its Star Power with Demi Lovato and Vanessa Hudgens

There’s a lot of new faces at prickly pear beverage brand Caliwater, both in front of and behind the camera.

At Natural Products Expo West 2026 last week, singer Demi Lovato joined co-founders and actors Oliver Trevena and Vanessa Hudgens at the brand’s booth. In this video from the show, the trio discussed Lovato’s new specialized Blood Orange flavor, their experience being involved in the business end of a CPG brand, and briefly debated whether “cake and frosting” is a proper metaphor for building the foundation of a sustainable beverage brand.

“I always say when it comes to business, find your niche, find the specific thing that there’s a gap in the marketplace for,” said Hudgens, who previously starred in the High School Musical film series.
