Lead Brewer – Production

We're looking for an experienced Lead Brewer to lead our production brewing operations and help shape the next chapter of Riip Beer Co.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all production brewing operations from grain to package.
• Lead and mentor the brewing and cellar team while maintaining a positive, accountable culture.
• Ensure consistent execution of recipes and maintain the highest quality standards.
• Manage brew schedules, fermentation, cellar operations, filtration, carbonation, and packaging.
• Monitor yeast health, CIP procedures, sanitation, and quality control programs.
• Coordinate raw material inventory and production planning.
• Maintain brewery equipment and work closely with vendors on preventative maintenance.
• Collaborate on recipe development, process improvements, and new beer releases.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, OSHA, TTB, and brewery operating procedures.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional brewing experience, including production brewing.
• Previous leadership or Head Brewer experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of brewing science, cellar operations, and quality assurance.
• Experience operating commercial brewhouse and packaging equipment.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to lift 55+ pounds and work in a physically demanding production environment.
• Passion for craft beer and continuous improvement.
