Role Summary

The Field Sales Representative serves as the day-to-day face of Lake Hour within their assigned territory. This role is responsible for executing brand priorities in market by expanding distribution, opening new accounts, supporting wholesaler partners, and building strong relationships with retailers and on-premise customers.

Working closely with the Regional Sales Manager and distributor sales teams, the Field Sales Representative helps bring Lake Hour's commercial strategy to life through consistent market execution, account development, merchandising, and activation support.

This role requires a highly motivated self-starter who enjoys being in the field. Approximately 75% of time will be spent calling on accounts, prospecting new business, supporting distributor sales representatives, executing displays and programming, and representing the Lake Hour brand throughout the market.

This position offers the opportunity to play a meaningful role in building an emerging premium beverage brand while creating lasting relationships with customers and distributor partners.

  • New account acquisition across on- and off-premise channels
  • Strong execution of displays, pricing, POS, and programming
  • Meaningful relationships with distributor sales teams and key retailers
  • Increased distribution and product visibility throughout the territory
  • Consistent account follow-up and execution of company priorities
  • High-quality representation of the Lake Hour brand at events and activations
  • Timely communication and reporting of market opportunities and competitive activity

Key Responsibilities

  • Call on existing and prospective retail and on-premise accounts to grow distribution and increase sales.
  • Identify and open new accounts within assigned territory.
  • Conduct regular ride-withs and sales calls alongside wholesaler representatives to support execution of Lake Hour priorities.
  • Build strong relationships with owners, buyers, managers, and distributor personnel.
  • Execute displays, point-of-sale materials, pricing initiatives, and promotional programs at retail.
  • Support sampling events, festivals, promotions, and consumer activations as assigned.
  • Monitor marketplace activity, competitive brands, pricing, and new opportunities, communicating insights to the State Manager.
  • Maintain accurate account records, call notes, and follow-up using company CRM systems.
  • Spend a minimum of 75% of working time in the market calling on accounts and supporting sales execution.
  • Participate in weekly sales meetings, territory reviews, and training sessions.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams and distributor partners to achieve territory goals.
  • Ensure all activities comply with company policies and all federal, state, and local alcohol regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with distributor partners and internal teams.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and events as needed.
  • Ability to lift 40+ pounds.
  • Minimum two years of beverage industry or outside sales experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of the three-tier beverage alcohol system preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
