Reports To Packaging Manager

Position Summary This position will be responsible for completing daily packaging operations at our Barrington facility.

The Right Candidate Will

·      Have basic mechanical skills and the ability to operate applicable machinery, and forklifts.

• Maintain brewery and task organization.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask effectively
• Willingness to assist with tasks outside key responsibilities
• Communicate efficiently and effectively with team
• Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
• Have a passion for quality
• Experience in a production brewery or the like preferred not required

Responsibilities Include 

·      Operating, Cleaning and maintaining our 100 CPM rotary can line and keg washer/filler

·      Operation and trouble shooting automated carton machine and tray former

·      Work with cellar staff to ensure proper carbonation for packaging

·      Operate our Anton Par Cbox to check DO levels during packaging

·      Maintain organized packaging hall and cold storage building

·      Maintain a clean and organized “back of house” at brewery

·      Building and repairing pallets

Physical Requirements

·      Ability to lift up to 75 pounds

·      Be exposed to wet conditions in the cold and heat

·      Work long periods on your feet in a fast paced environment

·      Safely handle chemicals
