Position Summary

The South East Texas Market Manager will be responsible for accelerating sales growth on our Barkeep Reserve Mixers throughout the Houston and Southeast Texas market by partnering with our wholesalers, developing new business, and executing best-in-class on-premise programs.

This is a highly visible, field-based position ideal for someone who enjoys building brands, creating relationships, and winning in the marketplace.

Responsibilities

Distributor Partnership

• Build strong relationships with distributor management and sales teams.
• Conduct ride-withs and market work with distributor representatives.
• Train distributor personnel on Lady Bird products and sales priorities.
• Drive execution of monthly programming and promotional initiatives.

Retail Development

• Develop new retail placements across, liquor, and specialty channels.
• Increase distribution and shelf presence within existing accounts.
• Secure displays, secondary placements, and promotional opportunities.
• Ensure pricing, merchandising, and point-of-sale execution meet company standards.

On-Premise Development

• Build relationships with restaurants, bars, hotels, golf courses, entertainment venues, and other hospitality accounts.
• Work alongside distributor on-premise teams to drive placements and menu opportunities.
• Execute sampling events and brand activations.

Market Execution

• Identify opportunities to increase distribution and sales velocity.
• Monitor competitive activity and marketplace trends.
• Solve execution issues quickly and professionally.
• Represent Lady Bird with enthusiasm and professionalism at all times.

Reporting

• Maintain accurate CRM and account records.
• Submit weekly market recaps.
• Track key performance metrics including:
• New account openings
• Distribution gains
• Display execution
• Sales activity
• Market intelligence

Qualifications

• 3+ years of beverage, beer, wine & spirits, CPG, or distributor sales experience.
• Strong understanding of the Houston On-Premise market.
• Experience calling on retail and/or on-premise accounts.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Highly organized with strong time management skills.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the territory.
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.

Preferred Experience

• Wine & Spirits Distributor
• Established On-Premise experience in the Houston Market
• Beverage Alcohol
