About the Role

We’re looking for a passionate Brewer to join our team at Cayman Islands Brewery. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be involved in all aspects of brewing on our 35hL brewhouse—from grain to glass—helping us maintain high-quality standards across our beer portfolio.

This is also a great opportunity to live and work in the Cayman Islands, known for its beautiful beaches, vibrant culture, and year-round warm climate.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Take part in daily brewing operations including wort production, fermentation, filtration, and packaging

- Monitor tanks and record key data such as gravity, pH, CO2 and dissolved oxygen levels

- Follow recipes and procedures to ensure consistent, high-quality beer

- Handle yeast harvesting and management

- Support cleaning and sanitation of tanks and equipment

- Assist with routine maintenance alongside the Maintenance Manager

- Keep clear and organized production records

- Work closely with other teams including quality control, packaging, and the tasting room

- Contribute to a clean, safe, and efficient work environment

- Stay engaged in brewery meetings and continuous improvement

What We’re Looking For

- Formal brewing education or relevant college degree preferred

- At least 2 years of brewing experience

- Strong attention to detail and record keeping

- Good communication skills and team mindset

- Basic troubleshooting skills

- Valid driving licence

- Flexible schedule including shift work

- Strong knowledge of beer styles, especially lagers

Physical Requirements

- Lift up to 55 lbs to shoulder height

- Lift up to 110 lbs to waist height and move up to 150 lbs along the floor

- Climb stairs, ramps, and ladders

- Work in confined spaces

- Work safely with chemicals

- Work in a loud production environment
