About Social Hour
Social Hour Cocktails is a bartender-owned, full-strength canned cocktail brand delivering the quality of a cocktail made from scratch at a world-class bar.
Founded in 2020 by Tom Macy, after a decade at Clover Club in Brooklyn including eight years running the bar program, Social Hour has grown into a 12-state brand with New York at the center of its business.
The premium ready-to-drink cocktail category is still being defined, and we believe Social Hour has an opportunity to own a meaningful part of it. We’re looking for someone excited to help build that position with us – not simply manage an existing territory.
The Role
The Northeast Market Manager is a full-time, hands-on, field-based sales role focused primarily on New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. You’ll spend most of your time in market with accounts and distributor partners – opening new doors, strengthening existing relationships, and turning trial into consistent reorders.
This role can be based anywhere in or near the tri-state area, provided you can travel efficiently throughout the territory. Occasional travel to additional Northeast and Mid-Atlantic markets may be required as we expand.
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow key accounts across New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut
- Open new on- and off-premise accounts
- Build strong relationships with distributor reps, buyers, and account teams
- Drive cold-box placements, displays, shelf sets, tastings, and other in-market execution
- Turn trial into consistent reorders and long-term account growth
- Represent Social Hour’s bartender-owned, quality-first story naturally and credibly
- Track market activity, opportunities, and results, and communicate clearly with the broader team
Qualifications
- A hunter mentality – a proactive, relationship-driven salesperson who enjoys prospecting, opening doors, and closing
- Experience selling spirits, wine, beer, or other beverage-alcohol brands
- Experience working with wine and spirits distributors and accounts in the tri-state area; strong local relationships are a major plus
- Comfortable spending the majority of your time in market and working independently across an active territory
- Organized, accountable, and strong at follow-through
- Valid driver’s license and reliable access to a vehicle
Compensation
$80,000–$100,000 base salary, plus performance-based bonus and benefits.
To Apply
Please submit your résumé along with a brief note about your background, your experience in the tri-state market, and why you’re interested in helping build Social Hour.
