Taproom Manager

Lost Cabin Beer Co. (Rapid City, SD) is hiring a Taproom Manager to run both of our taprooms: the Rapid City taproom and the Hill City Beer Garden, 30 minutes apart in the Black Hills.

This is a salaried management job. You manage the front-of-house crew (about 20 people across both locations), hiring and training, the schedule for both locations, the service and cleanliness standards, assist with weekly events and food truck schedule, weekly beer orders and inventory, and a weekly meeting with our other managers. You will also work a few hours behind the bar to support events and busy times.

Pay and benefits: $50,000+ salary depending on experience, plus bonus and tip potential. Paid vacation and holidays, SIMPLE IRA, dental and vision plans, paid volunteer time, beer and merch discounts. Relocation assistance for the right candidate from out of the area.

Who we are looking for: experience running a bar, taproom, or restaurant. Craft beer background strongly preferred. You have hired, scheduled, trained and let people go. Varied schedule with some nights, weekends, and holidays. Organized, self-directed, steady when it gets busy. Reliable vehicle, 21+, background check, TIPS or equivalent within 30 days. Cicerone Certified Beer Server a plus.
