Position Title: Central Region Manager –
The Central Region Manager is responsible for managing the company’s wholesale network in the territory as well as managing the RGUSA Territory Sales Managers (TSM) within the territory. As such, this person will be responsible for managing all aspects of distributor relationships from distribution mandates and programing execution to inventory management. In addition to the above, the NE RM will manage a small team of TSM’s who are responsible for executing the company’s programming at the retail level.
Reports to: the Chief Sales and Marketing Officer.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage all wholesaler relationships for the Central Region States - IL, WI, TX, CO, MN, MI, MO, IA, KS, NE, OK, LA, SD, ND, OK, AR.
- Plan and execute sales programs (i.e. incentives, display, distribution).
- Manage Wholesaler inventories.
- Manage wholesaler/retailer pricing to ensure brand price strategies are maintained and margins are achieved.
- Inform wholesaler sales teams on brand objectives.
- Manage wholesaler budgets (POS, Incentives, samples, sponsorships, etc.).
- Manage team of Territory Sales Managers to ensure proper sales execution at retail to deliver company’s goals.
- Manage trade spending for maximum results and within budget.
- Assist National Account team in execution of all chain mandated distribution and programming.
- Achieve sales targets and manage and track sales to plan.
Requirements:
- BA/BS - Business, Marketing or equivalent experience in the beer/beverage industry
- 3-5 years of experience in the beer industry managing wholesalers
- Knowledge of the local market and previous market management experience
- Excellent Selling Skills; Previous Import, Specialty, Craft a plus
- Excellent written, oral and presentation skills
- Excellent technical skills, MS office, understanding of and utilization of sales data (IRI, VIP, Nielsen), information-based selling concepts
- Residence in Chicagoland, Dallas or Houston is preferred
- Minimum of 50% travel is required within the territory
