The Packaging Operator (Level III-V) is an experienced packaging technician, responsible for operating high speed filling
lines efficiently with strict quality standards in mind. This role is responsible for keg & can filler preparation, continuous
operation, troubleshooting, and daily clean-up & shut-down. The Pack Op (III-V) is expected to possess at least 2
years of experience in a beverage manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Packaging Operations
•Operate & maintain packaging equipment (Krones can filler, Lambrechts keg filler, tray packer, cartoner)
•Set up production lines, conduct change-overs, and perform shut down procedures
•Stage materials and maintain accurate logs of downtime, maintenance, and performance
•Adhere to MBC’s Safety Plan as well as Good Manufacturing Practices as outline in our Quality Manual
•Clean and sanitize equipment, keeping work area neat and organized
•Contribute to SOP development, continuous improvement projects, and efficiency initiatives.
•Support training of new team members.
Quality & Process Support
•Perform and record basic production and quality measurements using brewery lab and testing equipment
•Maintain accurate production records, logs, and operational data within brewery software systems
•Follow quality assurance procedures and support product consistency initiatives
•Identify opportunities for process improvement, operational efficiency, and waste reduction
•Communicate production concerns, material needs, or scheduling issues proactively
Team & Facility Support
•Collaborate with brewing, packaging, warehouse, maintenance, and quality teams
•Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment
•Support raw material staging, inventory movement, and general production support as required
Requirements:
Qualifications
• Prior packaging, beverage production, or related manufacturing experience required
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with production equipment
• Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Forklift certification or experience is a plus
• Familiarity with brewing process controls, brewery software systems, and basic lab/testing procedures
preferred
• Must be 21 years of age or older at the time of application
• Able to pass a post-offer, pre-employment reference, and background check
• Must adhere to company’s policies and procedures
Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift and move up to 55 lbs regularly
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and work in wet or hot production environments for extended periods
• Comfortable working around chemicals, steam, pressurized systems, and production equipment while following all safety procedures
