Dads root beer

Great stuff. Haven't had it since I left Chicago in "56". Too bad more stores don't carry it out here in AZ. Found it at World Market by accident, hope they continue to carry it.

Robust flavor

I like the cinnamony flavor and I can taste the molasses in it. It has a very unique, recognizable flavor.

A Class Act

I frst enjoyed Dad's Root Beer in a small 8 once bottle back in 1948 in Los Angeles Califonia.I was a young boy then and after school my Mother would take me to an amusement arcade for rides and some refreshment, since that time it becomes increasing harder to find Dad's Root Beer as most stores do no carry it.However The Family Dollar chain does and I am so glad once again to find an old friend, it brings back happy times of childhood. Lots of good luck to the company who produces that famed drink......it's tops

Big Daddy: Different, spicey

This is different than most run-of-the-mill root beers, and it is one of the older brands. It's got a hint of spice that hits with the carbonation. It may be cinnamon or nutmeg. I don't taste the licorice that many taste in Dad's. I don't mind a non-creamy root beer like this, I'd just like a more herbal, rooty flavor over spice. It's marketed as a low end product, too, with low end ingredients.

Better Than Anything Out There

Dad's is a great Root Beer! Old Fashioned is great. Much better than anything out there except IBC. I give it a 5 because you can get a much cheaper price for Dad's

Dad's Old Fashioned Root Beer

AWESOME!! there are lots of root beers out there and each as it's own unique flavor. I like to drink different root beers for different recipes and this is good 4+ for just drinking (ice cold) but for the Old Fashioned Root Beer Float this is one of the best!
